In the Mail

I was on vacation a couple of weeks ago, and something exciting arrived in the mail.

Our save the date cards we ordered through Vistaprint!

This includes the cards.

Personalized envelopes.

And stickers to seal!

We're gathering addresses from our families and these will be out in the mail, with some to be hand delivered to certain friends and family members that live close by.

Sorry for the hap hazard updates.  We're planning this way ahead, we still have over a year to go, so as soon as things are taken care of, I'll post to here.

Save the Date

When we booked our location, The Appel Inn, we knew we would have to start thinking of invitations, but first we had to think of the save the date cards.  This is something that Tim and I wanted to be different.  We didn't want some floral, natural, romantic card to send to everyone.  That's not really our style.  So, we asked our friend of ten years, Bryan if he would draw one up for us.  We originally wanted something that represented our location, but he had the idea to draw us as cartoons in an action pose.  We thought this was much better.  And here's the end result!

These have been ordered and will be here in a couple of weeks.  If this is any indication of how fun our actual wedding will be, then I'm even more excited.
